This is the perfect way to find out about how to throw on the potters wheel. This voucher is for one person, and the session will focus on the basics of throwing, practising how to centre the clay and pulling pots.
Students will be guided step-by-step through each hand movement, learning how to control the clay. Time will be spent focusing on how to form cylinders and simple bowls, and variations of these forms.
Taught sessions are 2 hours plus ½ hr break.
You can come back and decorate your pot about 3 weeks later. This will take about ½ hour or if you prefer you will be able to decorate one of my beakers that you can keep and I will decorate your pot for you later.
