Sessions will focus on the basics of throwing, practising how to centre the clay and pulling pots. Students will be guided step-by-step through each hand movement, learning how to control the clay.

Pottery Classes for Adults & Children
Join me in the potters shed for a pottery class for one or two people. An ideal gift for adults or children, or something to treat yourself to!
Our pottery experiences take place in the potters shed in Starston, Norfolk and are 2 and a half hours including a 30-minute break. You can choose to glaze one of my beakers or come back to glaze your own pot after the first firing. I will be happy to glaze your pot if you prefer to just have one session.

As this was my first time having a try throwing on a pottery wheel I was apprehensive and excited but I left feeling confident and having made a pot and a bowl which I never thought I would be able to do.
I can’t wait to glaze my pieces in a few weeks and see how they turn out.
